Not only do they believe in the principles of hard work, coach-ability and growth mindset, but they have practiced these principles with great success. They know how to process feedback, analyze techniques and ultimately maximize success. The Best in Class coaching staff has walked in the same shoes as our players and will be able to connect beyond the field and the X’s and O’s. Each of them represent the cornerstone of FCL, proving that hard-work and effort is as important off the field as on the field, and a well-rounded student-athlete will be a well-rounded and successful member of their community. #### The Format Best in Class brings together individual technique drills, small sided drills, live repetitions, situational environments, half field and full field scenarios, and in-game coaching points. The ultimate goal of this design is to help our players develop, be seen, and be accurately evaluated by college coaches by developing and performing the skillsets that are necessary for their success in college lacrosse. The Best in Class format has been designed to give players the unique opportunity to train and learn in an environment that will push them to be open minded, expand their games and become better lacrosse players. Through this training, coaches will have a unique chance to see players respond to feedback, make improvements and demonstrate other intangibles that might not always come out in pure gameplay. Our hope is that it will showcase those players that are drawn to improvement and hard work – the players with the highest trajectory to excel in their 4 years of collegiate lacrosse. #### Location Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware ### Answering Your Questions - #### Can I check my BIC Application status? We can't provide individual status updates as we received thousands of applications. If you see the confirmation page after submitting, then we have received your application—email isn't needed for confirmation. If you are unsure, you may resubmit your application. - #### Can I nominate a player for BIC? Coaches can submit nominations for players through our [player nomination process here](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScB66ZA_Y99llZ8U5Os9ecXJJDSLoG495WK0a5CXhdUoQVe-g/viewform). We cannot guarantee acceptance of any nominations that do not follow this process. - #### What should I expect to hear back from Best in Class? We send BIC invites out in waves. For Summer events, we typically stop sending invites out around December. We do not provide individual responses if players are not invited. We send an event status email out to all applicants around December. - #### Do I need to apply to all events? Summer invite-only events require an application. Open events (Summer Camp, Showcases) allow direct sign-up unless full.
