7 College Games I'm Looking Forward to Most in 2023
With the recent schedule drops, here are seven games that I am looking forward to most this season, all for different...
Matt Dunn graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016 and is currently a Professional Lacrosse Player in both the Premier Lacrosse League (“PLL”) for the Whipsnakes LC and the National Lacrosse League (“NLL”) for the Georgia Swarm. At the University of Maryland, Matt played on the Men’s Lacrosse Team for four years where he served as a two-time captain, won a Big Ten Conference championship, and received All-American honors.
Upon graduation, he was drafted 7th overall in Major League Lacrosse for the Rattlers where he won the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2018. In 2019, he transitioned leagues to the Premier Lacrosse League where he has won back to back PLL Championships and was ranked #7 on the Top 50 PLL Players List in 2020. In 2020, Matt was voted DPOY of the PLL. In addition to field lacrosse, Matt also plays indoor lacrosse for the Georgia Swarm in the NLL and participated in the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships for team USA in British Columbia.
This program combines mentorship, film review, and guidance around events, recruiting, training and more.
You won’t find better individual training than at First Class Lacrosse. The coaches make time to work with every player on their development and understanding of the game. Personally, I wouldn’t be the defenseman I am today without the coaching from Matt. He pushes me every session to be better than I was the day before, and provides a structure that allows me to do that.
I’ve been working with Matt and FCL for a while now and have had the FCL online program for almost 4 months. I can honestly say it has greatly helped me look at the game from a more technical standpoint, and as a result has greatly improved my game and lacrosse IQ. Those little technical parts of the game can be the difference of stopping a guy 1 on 1 or getting beat, and getting to a guy’s hands on a slide or being too late. As someone who is looking to dominate at the next level, making these minor tweaks to my technique has been a huge help for me.
I started training with first class lacrosse at the most crucial time in my lacrosse journey and it has made a major impact. In the last few months i’ve seen a major improvement in my game and how I train. Matt has not only taught me on field concepts but he really preaches when going through drills act like you are really playing an attack men and not just running to a cone. Since implementing this in my training i’ve seen a major improvement. I would not be where I’m at today without the help from First Class Lacrosse.
