These mock drafts are a more of what I think each team should do rather than an insider 'prediction' of what team will do. Without further ado...
#25: Denver Outlaws - Payton Cormier (Attack - Virginia)
Cormier obviously is a fantastic inside finisher, but he’s an underrated dodger as well. He would be a nice pickup for the Outlaws.
#26: New York Atlas - Dyson Williams (Attack - Duke)
Like Cormier, Williams is an elite Canadian finisher. This landing spot would be awesome for Williams, as he would be a nice pairing with Jeff Teat on the left wing in the pick game.
#27: Maryland Whipsnakes - Josh Zawada (Attack/Midfield - Duke)
Zawada is a versatile piece for the Whipsnakes offense. I could see him in a Keegan Khan type role, with lots of inverting.
#28: Carolina Chaos - Saam Olexo (LSM - Syracuse)
Olexo is an offensive-minded LSM. Yes, they took Piseno already in this mock draft, but they have an aging LSM unit that Olexo could help in a few years.
#29: California Redwoods - Ross Scott (Attack - Rutgers)
Scott is a jitterbug of an attackman that could bring a spark for this Redwood offense. I see him coming out of the box, but Scott has played midfield at Rutgers, so it wouldn’t be too big of an adjustment for him.
#30: Boston Cannons - Luke Wierman (FO - Maryland)
I honestly don’t know when faceoff men will be drafted. But Wierman is a great one, and the Cannons need one.
#31: Philadelphia Waterdogs - Jake Naso (FO - Duke)
Same can be said about Naso and the Waterdogs about Wierman and the Cannons.
#32: Utah Archers - Marcus Hudgins (D - Ohio State)
Hudgins has been creeping up draft boards as a upside defender that is capable in transition.
