Best In Class Men's Committed kicked off its 2nd Annual event. We began with combine testing, which was new for several of our 2023 attendees, and proceeded into training and 1 game each day. We had an incredible staff on site, and 4 teams and just under 70 athletes competed over 2 days.
This group was a special one - energy was high and it was exciting to see so many of the men's and women's players watch and support each other across the 2 days. Let's take a look at some players who stood out to the staff during the event.

Attack
Davis Provost | 2023 | Calvert Hall HS |
Commitment: UPenn
Flying 20: 2.17 seconds
Broad Jump: 9 ft, 1 in
Vertical: 32.5 Inches
Evaluation: The pace and decision making Provost plays with caught my eye from the first couple small sided drills. A strong lefty who can get the middle, he's not afraid to rifle skips and make plays. His recognition of when to hit skips vs. hit singles improved each drill, and he might have been the most college ready scorer of the bunch. Provost's college ready frame fits right in with some of the size the UPenn offense has been putting on the field the past few years.
Nate Kabiri | 2023 | Georgetown Prep |
Commitment: Princeton
Evaluation: While Nate could only attend on day 2, his presence was felt immediately. Elite hands and decision making were on display in 4v3 diagonals and other small sided drills. I can remember when Nate was shifting from midfield to attack in his sophomore year, and exploring COD and angle play. Fast forward 2 years later and he continues to approach the work with a humble desire to be great. Not a bad feed here either, to Stone Evans for Team 2.
Peter Moynihan | 2023 | Ridgefield HS |
Commitment: Yale

Vertical: 33.5 Inches
Evaluation: Moynihan backed up a strong BIC 2021 Committed Performance with another great showing. Peter's game will remind you of a couple recent prototypical Yale attackman - some combination of Jackson Morrill's frame and IQ, and Brandau's aggressiveness attacking his matchup. With 7 goals & 2 assists across 2 games, Peter asserted himself in usual fashion, but also pulled a clean backhand finish out which will be a great addition to his arsenal.
Peter Buonnano | 2024 | Moses Brown |
Commitment: Princeton
Evaluation: Every BIC event Peter attends he only impresses more. He is slick, deceptive, and wiry. He has a great ability to consistently get his left, but always within the flow of the offense. You never feel that Peter is overly dominating the ball, yet he puts up a 4 and 2 performance like he did game 1. He has a great demeanor - calm, cool, collected.
Hamish McPherson | 2023 | Everest Academy |
Commitment: Maryland
Flying 20: 2.22 seconds
Broad Jump: 8 ft, 3 in
Vertical: 29 Inches
Evaluation: Hamish had a strong 2 days. His hands are fantastic - handling a lot of balls in traffic and showing a pure knack for finishing. He turned heads immediately once the small sided drills hit. He keeps the ball hot while also asserting himself physically. He capped off the weekend with a highlight reel one handed grab on a clear, and then took off ahead of the defense to finish in front.
Aiden Weisenborn| 2024 | Wheaton Academy |
Commitment: Army West Point

Broad Jump: 9 ft, 1 in
Vertical: 32 Inches
Evaluation: Weisenborn is a player that I came in knowing less about, that made an absolute splash. He turned the corner hard, with a big time goal in the final game getting downhill to the net. He used his size well, and can stretch with range. He finishes in tight with good hands, and is a natural scorer. One of the other poles had even commented that Weisenborn has increasingly become a tougher cover this year as he uses his frame more physically.
Ryan Waldman | 2024 | Westfield HS |
Commitment: Cornell
Flying 20: 2.28 seconds
Broad Jump: 8 ft, 7 in
Vertical: 30.5 Inches
Evaluation: Ryan is extremely shifty at X and really understands the game. He has great poise and can take command of all six guys in the play with him. He plays tough and has a nose for the goal. As he uses his body more off the dodge, he will only elevate his game. Combine that with IQ and shiftiness and it's no surprise why Coach Buczek will be excited for what is to come.
Kyle Colsey| 2024 | Ridgefield HS |
Commitment: Virginia
Evaluation: Colsey is a slick athlete with a deceptively quick first step. He has the ability to shoot from range and is always a threat to pull the trigger. He reads picks well and does a nice job setting up his defenders on the wing. As he continues fine tuning shot selection, it's not surprising to imagine the upside he will have as a lefty goal scorer for the Hoos.

Leo Hoffman | 2023 | Brunswick School |
Commitment: UPenn

Vertical: 37 Inches
Evaluation: It has been exciting to see the evolution of Leo's game the past 5+ years. From a scrawny 7th grader to a built, college-ready midfielder, Leo's combine dominance (#1 in 2/3 tests) only affirms what you consistently see on the field. Where I think Leo's game has grown most is his recognition of how impactful earning a slide and hitting singles are. He still produces, with 8 points across the 2 days, but his willingness to let the game come to him and let the ball do the work shows his deep understanding of team offense. Quaker fans have a lot to be excited about with Hoffman and this 2023 class.

Commitment: Fairfield

Vertical: 30.5 Inches
Evaluation: Beyond just his stellar play, Justin's pure love for the game shined all weekend. A strong dodger with a rifle of a shot, Justin was creating all weekend. He put home a few beautiful "11 to 5" step downs from range, but also showed his willingness to get to the rack in small sided drills. As he continues to hone in shot selection and hitting singles, he will flourish in his final 2 years of HS lacrosse before he heads off to Fairfield.
Jackson Greene| 2023 | St. Anthony's |
Commitment: Harvard

Broad Jump: 9 ft, 3 in
Vertical: 31 Inches
Evaluation: Our first time having Jackson out to work left us nothing short of impressed. A quick first step and physical frame, Jackson is a party starter who can put the ball in the back of the net. He had a great balance of looking to create with letting the game come to him, and he's got a great skill set which I could see being used in a variety of ways as he heads off to Harvard.
Teddy Gabrielian | 2023 | Avon Old Farms | 2021 BIC
Commitment: North Carolina
Flying 20: 2.27 seconds
Broad Jump: 9 ft, 1 in
Vertical: 29.5 Inches
Evaluation: A 3x returner, Teddy's game continues to improve. At 6' 3.5", Teddy is seemingly bigger every time I see him, but his arsenal of fakes, 2 handed play, and finishing is deep. As he continues to settle into his frame and use physicality in addition to his COD and change of speed, he is going to be a constant matchup issue heading into the ACC. Teddy is a ball player, always trying to improve.
Hans Huber| 2023 | Holderness School |
Commitment: Bucknell

Broad Jump: 9 ft, 2 in
Vertical: 32.5 Inches
Evaluation: The growth in Hans' game since we first saw him in 2021 has been tremendous. His motor and toughness pushed others to be great, and he played with a chip on his shoulder. One of the most explosive athletes there, it will be exciting to see how Hans makes an impact early in his college career. His speed allows him to create off the dodge, and he's aggressive in bringing his contact to defenders.
Hudson Hausmann| 2024 | Brunswick School |
Commitment: Brown
Evaluation: If I were to make 1 comparison to a player I think Hausmann has similar characteristics to, it would be my former teammate Ryan Conrad. He moves smoothly and explosively for a midfielder his size. He showed a consistent toughness in the middle of the field and no quit attitude, and his engine drove the ship for the team 3. Look out for Hausmann to take the next step in his playmaking abilities as he settles into life as an upperclassman.

Commitment: Lehigh

Broad Jump: 9 ft, 6 in (1st Overall)
Vertical: 30.5 Inches
Evaluation: Rathwell is a savvy, high IQ player that is very "Swiss army knife" like. He plays tough defense, can take wings, and is a smart decision making. He doesn't blow by you off the dodge, but he's the type of glue guy that can make an offense spin. You can see his IQ in the pick game, looking to set bee stings and get players hung up. Lehigh picked up a strong player who's only going to get better.

Vertical: 30.5 Inches
Evaluation: Kyle has a great frame, is physically imposing, and works very hard. You could sense his urgency from the first positional drills we ran on Saturday morning. He was at his best as a team defender and covering physical dodgers on the wings.
Kevin Kearns| 2023 | St. Anthony's |
Commitment: Michigan
Flying 20: 2.22 seconds
Broad Jump: 9 ft, 6 in
Vertical: 34 Inches
Evaluation: Kevin was the most notable off-ball defender at the event. He has a great feel for the flow and gray areas of the game which is rare at this level. He excels at the nuanced plays of splitting two, rotating through passing lanes, and anticipating ball movement. Kevin was solid on the ball as well, but his off-ball presence is what separated him.
Liam Powell| 2024 | Loyola Blakefield |
Commitment: Delaware
Flying 20: 2.21 seconds
Broad Jump: 8 ft, 2 in
Vertical: 29 Inches
Evaluation: Liam is one of those guys you sense all over the field. He makes up for mistakes by going 100% and has contagious energy. He is physical, aggressive, and skilled. If Liam can continue to find the right balance of control and aggression, he will develop into a complete defender at the next level.
Nikolas Menendez| 2024 | Culver Academy |
Commitment: Harvard
Flying 20: 2.06 seconds
Broad Jump: 8 ft, 10 in
Vertical: 32 Inches
Evaluation: Nik does not make many mistakes which is high praise for a defender. The best defenders at the highest levels are not always making highlight type plays; rather, they just make very few mistakes and consistently do their job. Nik did this well throughout the event. The one thing I would love to see from Nik is continuing to work on his fundamental approaches (stick in front) and being more physical with ball carriers at the right times.
Walker Schwartz| 2023 | Germantown Academy |
Commitment: Cornell
Flying 20: 2.16 seconds
Broad Jump: 8 ft, 10 in
Vertical: 31.5 Inches
Evaluation:Walker was dominant off the ground and with the ball in his stick. He was as comfortable as a short sticks carrying the ball. He was aggressive on defense and threw hard checks. Walker was an LSM that everybody noticed and avoided throughout the weekend. Like most LSM’s, Walker's focus will be to continue developing his 6v6 defensive play which I have no doubt Coach Stevens will be able to instill in him at the next level.
Pasha Hakimi| 2023 | St. Alban's |
Commitment: Penn

Broad Jump: 9 ft, 1 in
Vertical: 30 Inches
Evaluation: Pasha is a lethal threat in transition. He scored multiple goals and sparked breaks throughout the event. He is certainly very comfortable moving from D to O, and his size and athleticism allow him to hawk around the middle of the field. As Pasha continues to develop, focusing on his 6v6 defense will be a big step for him at the next level, but with his work ethic I have faith he will pick this up.
Aidan Carrello | 2023 | Huntington High School |
Commitment: Georgetown
Evaluation: Aidan had a great weekend and was one of the most consistent defenders on the field. He moves well and brings a physical presence to his style of play, especially around GLE. One of my highest praises to Aidan was his coachability. Aidan would ask questions, take the feedback, and work to implement it into the next reps which is a crucial quality to reach the highest levels.

Tade Wynn | 2024 | Culver Academy |

Evaluation: Tade is an elite ball stopper. With great presence and poise in the cage, he is an athlete and explosive. His top hand drive / lower body work great together. Great in tight, and on his angle play. As he tightens up a spot or 2, he will be as complete as they come.
Tyler Coryea | 2024 | Western Reserve Academy |
Commitment: Maryland
Flying 20: 2.37 seconds
Broad Jump: 7 ft, 5 in
Vertical: 26.5 Inches
Evaluation: As balanced and clean fundamentally as a junior keeper can be. On top of his shot stopping abilities from any range, his IQ and awareness in the clear are some of the best in the class. As he makes the transition to college it will be important for him to limit ending up on his back for low shots.

Evaluation: Ohnmacht, a returning BIC attendee, came out hot in each game, notching 7 saves a piece. He sees the ball well, often making clean saves, and he has great poise in the clearing game. Ohmacht's size stands out as well. From a shooter's perspective, you don't line up and see a ton of net.
