After a year of high school under their belt, the pace of play has drastically evolved. One nuance that was introduced for the 2028s were shot clocks - a simple tweak that encouraged faster pace and rewarded stalwart defense. Let's take a look at who rose to the top in the 2028 group this go round.

She read the defense well, manipulated space and was great at dodging, bouncing away and then redodging. Lucia is a true two way mid. While on the smaller side height wise, she makes up for it with her speed. She hustles, is scrappy on GB's and comes up with draws that she shouldn’t. She's a work horse. Understands spacing well on D and O, plays more up top, but can play anywhere. The younger sister of a D1 standout, Colasante has a high ceiling ahead.

#6 carson bahl | indian hill | LONG ISLAND legacy

A few college coaches showed up on Day 2 prior to catch the end of the day and were impressed by Bahl. She has great size, she's aggressive, and good between the 30s. Her calling card is she's explosive as a 1v1 dodger. When she turns the corner and gets downhill, bringing her hands over the top, she's a force. She's a strong circle player and had a lot of one hand draw controls. Great ball handler that escapes pressure all over the field. Her biggest growth areas will come in shot selection and situational IQ around the field. Bahl won't be under the radar anymore going forward.

She makes body saves that changed the vibe of the game. When a shooter comes down the alley, she can hold well and explode to the given corner. She moves laterally on inside shots. She's patient with her movements and as she keeps fine tuning she's going to be a high level keeper.

Impact Scores

Our BIC Impact Score is our internal way of evaluating players that attend our events. These metrics are not perfect, but are meant to capture the "impact" that these players had on their teams and training sessions from our staff's perspective over the two day event. They are garnered from multiple sources and discussed; however, they are based on a very limited sample. They are not comprehensive rankings beyond these two days.

5 is the highest ranking for our impact score metric. 5's are considered to be standouts at the event that had exceptional performances as agreed upon by multiple sources.

Screenshot 2025-06-24 at 3.09.16 PM

4's are those players that played very well and showed to have great potential, but did not have quite the same impact over the 2-day's as the 5's. These players were noticed regularly by many of the coaches in attendance.
