Meet the Minds Behind Our Community
Deemer Class
Co-Director of First Class Lacrosse
Born in Baltimore, MD, Deemer has played in the highest levels of the game – professionally, Division 1 and the most elite high school conference in the country. Deemer was widely regarded as one of the best outside shooters in lacrosse, and has developed a reputation for coaching offensive techniques from shooting, dodging and re-dodging, stick work, IQ and offensive sets. Coach Class attended Loyola Blakefield, graduating in 2012. He captained the team as a senior and helped lead Loyola to a MIAA championship game appearance. He was a 2x USL All American, 2x All Conference, and an Under Armour all American. He finished as Inside Lacrosse’ #10 incoming recruit.
Matt Dunn
Co-Director of First Class Lacrosse
Matt Dunn graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016 and is currently a Professional Lacrosse Player in the Premier Lacrosse League for the Whipsnakes LC. At the University of Maryland, Matt played on the Men’s Lacrosse Team for four years where he served as a two-time captain, won a Big Ten Conference championship, and received All-American honors. Upon graduation, he was drafted 7th overall in Major League Lacrosse for the Rattlers where he won the Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) Award in 2018. In 2019, he transitioned leagues to the Premier Lacrosse League where he has won back to back PLL Championships and was ranked #7 on the Top 50 PLL Players List in 2020. In 2020, Matt was voted DPOY of the PLL. Matt helped lead Team USA to a gold medal in the 2023 World Games.
Stephen Rehfuss
Content Contributor with First Class Lacrosse
Stephen Rehfuss graduated from Syracuse University in 2021. At Syracuse, Stephen played on the men's lacrosse team for five years where he was an All-American attackman, team captain, Tewaaraton Award nominee, Senior CLASS Award All-American, All-ACC, Syracuse's Male Athlete of the Year (2021) and recipient of the Doris Solady Award, Syracuse Athletics' highest honor (2020). Upon graduation Stephen was drafted 25th overall by Cannons Lacrosse Club (PLL). In 2021, Stephen was named a finalist for Rookie of the Year and was ranked as the PLL's 46th best player in their annual top 50 rankings. Stephen played for the Cannons for two seasons.
Adam Lamberti
Content Contributor with First Class Lacrosse
Adam is a native of Baltimore, MD where he graduated from McDonogh School in 2019. He played midfield for the Eagles and went on to play college lacrosse at Washington & Lee. In his time during college, Adam contributed part time to the FCL social media team and began full time in June of 2023. Adam also writes for the PLL, covering the PLL Whipsnakes primarily, and now resides in Charlotte, NC.
